How to Install phpmyadmin software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

phpmyadmin software package provides MySQL web administration tool, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install phpmyadmin

phpmyadmin is installed in your system.

Make ensure the phpmyadmin package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep phpmyadmin *

You will get with phpmyadmin package name, version, architecture and description in a table
